Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo Run Hong Kong Nightlife
Lan Kwai Fong — the small hillside grid above Central — is the most famous nightlife district in Asia-Pacific. Dragon-i, Volar, Racks, and several blocks of bars stack the narrow streets; weekends bring the expat-and-local mix at high density.
Walk up the Mid-Levels escalator to SoHo for the slightly more grown-up scene — The Old Man (rated among the world's best cocktail bars), COA (mezcal specialty), Stockton (cocktails, hidden entrance).
Wan Chai on the waterfront side has its own nightlife cluster (Lockhart Road) with a rougher, more expat/sailor-era history. Hong Kong bars close later than most Asian cities — 4 AM is common on weekends.
